An Arvada, CO, witness reported watching a "yellow-orange globe" that moved across the sky at the tree top level about 9:15 p.m. on July 16, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness stepped outside after a band practice when the object was first seen.
"We all witnessed the yellowish, orange globe moving across the sky," the witness stated. "Then it came back about 10 minutes later."
The witness attempted to photograph the object as it returned, but now there were no lights.
"When I turned on my camera and the flash came on, the object went black. You could still see it but it was black now."
The witness said that the object moved "a little above the tree top level" and that it faded into the sky as it moved further away.
"I worked for a major airline and this was very strange indeed."
