A Washington witness reports investigating after children described a "glowing orb flying crazy" and observed "a glowing ball like a falling star," according to February 27, 2012, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness looked out a window after hearing what the "kids" had to say.
The object "then hovered, and then dropped from low clouds to right above my neighbor's garage," the witness stated.
The witness then reports that "phones quit working," that "TV power was surging" and that everyone "felt dizzy, light headed, almost numb-bodied."
The object then quickly moved away.
"The thing then just took off with a big flash and left a streak in the sky like a shooting star."
No town name was mentioned in the MUFON report, which was filed on February 27, 2012. The events occurred on February 25, 2012. Three images were included with the report: Image 1, Image 2, and Image 3. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
Washington is a current UFO ALERT 5 rating, with a low number of UFO sightings nationally. Washington had 11 reports in January, the 21st highest reporting state - while California had 90 reports in January 2012 - the highest reporting state in the nation.
