I was waiting for the punch line when I read the story on Sammy Hagar's alleged abduction by aliens. The former lead singer for Van Halen is no stranger to the "sex, drugs and rock "n" roll aspects of the music business. So I have to ask how much of Hager's involvement in the party aspects was an influence in his story. I can't say how much Hagar was into the drugs and alcohol but I wonder if he had a flashback of some sorts.
Hagar told a reporter about having dreams about UFO's and when asked if he had been abducted, Hagar answered; "I think I have." This quote didn't do anything for the creditably of Hagar's story in my mind or whether he just had a vivid dream.

This abduction story of Hagar's sounds too much like a promo for his new book, "Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock." Originally described as a dream where Hagar was contacted by aliens in California was, in fact, reality. According to the story, the aliens tapped into Hagar's mind through a wireless connection. "It was real," Hagar was quoted as saying: "They were plugged into me. It was a download situation...Or they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment."
I have to admit that I don't believe Hagar's tale at this point in time. It sounds like there is too much self serving interests here to keep his career alive. Until I get first hand experience, such as it happening to me, I always take alien abduction stories with a grain of salt. This is not to discredit every alien abduction story, who knows, any number of them could be true. But a degree in skepticism is important as some of these stories could be ones way of getting attention.
