A Colorado witness cannot identify lights he saw while driving along Highway 36 between Denver and Boulder on March 30, 2011, that seemed to move too fast for an airplane, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The first object spotted was a “fast moving, bright, white light,” the witness stated. “After about a minute of watching it, the unidentified flying object was to the right of my window and a second white, circular light appeared fairly close and parallel to the first one.”
Thirty seconds later, the second object disappeared, at a point where the driver was passing Flat Irons Crossing mall.
We recently reported on three red lights over Lafayette, Colorado, on March 20, 2011, that appeared in the shape of a triangle. This earlier report was covered in the following stories:

No images or video were submitted with the MUFON report, which was filed on March 31, 2011.
Colorado is a current UFO ALERT 5 rating, with a low number of UFO sightings nationally. Colorado had 8 UFO reports in February 2011 – while California had 67 sightings, the highest reporting state in the nation.
