“There had been a power outage where I was staying and I went out on the deck to observe the stars and saw the orange objects in the sky moving slowly with no sound,” the witness reported. “I couldn’t tell how high they were. The first two were in single file. The second two were side by side and the other two were in single file.”
Witnesses in Charlotte, NC, said they hoped others would come forward to help explain a series of “bright, orange orbs” that moved across the sky about 10:30 p.m. on May 1, 2011, that moved “slow and steady,” south to north, and looked “like they were on fire.” We reported that story here as: Series of orange lights spotted over Charlotte, North Carolina.
