A Higginsville, NY, witness reports an object with triangle-shaped lights and a second object with square-shaped lights directly above in the sky, according to December 9, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness believes it was two objects on first observation.
“I deliberately noted that I could see the background sky between the two objects.,” the witness stated.
The witness then moved inside to alert family members, but once outside, the group could only see one object.
“Although I previously saw the distinction of two aircraft with the sky between the two, by the time we all ran out, we only saw one cluster of lights.”
Family members commented on what they were seeing.
“What they remarked on was that there were an unusual number of solo blinking lights around the yellowed clusters of lights. There had to be about five blinking, white lights following the cluster of yellow lights. The cluster of yellow lights and accompanying white lights continued from east to northeast, at a slight inclination.”
The object appeared to move toward Syracuse Airport.
No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed December 9, 2011. The events occurred on December 8, 2011. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
