A Pennsylvania witness at Doylestown reported watching a “large, spherical object with three triangular lights” that moved over Route 202 about 6:20 a.m. on October 19, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was driving along Route 202 near the Duck Deli when a brightness in the sky was noticed.
“The large object appeared over the microwave cell tower,” the witness stated. “There was a whooshing sound with the object which first appeared as three large, triangular white lights.”
The witness noticed something strange happening at the same time with a compass inside the vehicle.
“I have a Coleman compass which I had on my front seat. The compass whirled.”
The witness believes the three lights were a single object.
“I noted the structure behind the lights and saw it was one object, not three separate triangles. It passed over my SUV in all its brightness. Several cars were in the area by the intersection on this overcast rainy morning.”
No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on October 19, 2012. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Doylestown is a borough in Bucks County, PA, population 8,380.

October 19, 2012, Doylestown, PA – Large spherical object with 3 triangular lights whooshed over intersection at about 15 mph and over my suv. MUFON Case 43396.
At about 6:20 am, I was driving to work on rt. 202 and just passed the Duck Deli when I noted a brightness over to my front left above the 7-11. The large object appeared over the microwave cell tower. There was a whooshing sound with the object which first appeared as 3 large triangular white lights. I have a coleman compass which I had on my front seat. The compass whirled. As I looked up again, I noted the structure behind the lights and saw it was one object, not 3 separate triangles. It passed over my suv in all its brightness. Several cars were in the area by the intersection on this overcast rainy morning.
I was a former UFO investigator and this is my second sighting since 2008, the Bucks County flap.
