A Portland, Oregon, witness riding a bus westbound at 6:45 a.m. on March 29, 2011, over the Ross Island Bridge reports watching three bright white lights “that seemed to flicker or flash rapidly” and nearby observed a “cluster of bright colored lights “that blinked and seemed to tumble around each other,” according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
“This object was maybe a quarter of a mile away,” the witness stated. “About 15 seconds passed before the bus drove over the bridge and into the city innards. I discerned no identifiable shape and have no idea what it was.”

Oregon is a current UFO ALERT 5 rating, with a low number of UFO sightings nationally. Oregon had 4 UFO reports in February 2011 – while California had 67 sightings, the highest reporting state in the nation.
