The disc-shaped UFO emerged low near a tree line while multiple witnesses watched.
A group of Delaware witnesses report that a disc-shaped UFO just a few hundred few off of the ground “emerged from a tree line” to their east and “flew slowly almost rotating until directly in front of us” on August 27, 2011, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The object accelerated and changed direction to the northwest and then again heading toward the north.
“Object became blurry over horizon after 20-25 seconds and began to rise and fade,” the reporting witness stated.
The witness described the object.
“No noise at all, no lights. Looked almost white, but in the dark. Seemed like changing shape from below, but clearly disc shape from side with small central tip underside.”
There were five witnesses all together. No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on August 27, 2011. No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the report. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
Delaware is a current UFO ALERT 5 rating, with a low number of UFO sightings nationally. Delaware had 2 reports in July 2011 – while California had 54 UFO reports – the highest reporting state in the nation.
