Extraterrestrial Communication; Limited by Our Own Brutality

plane-ufo.jpg

Why extraterrestrials are observing but not fully interacting with us has been a controversial point for many years. I feel that the question may have answers in the following.

We are a cruel and warlike species at times. We are emotional and soon resort to killing each other and others species at the drop on a hat.

Our cruelty appears to have no limits and one only needs to observe recent images like the Dark Age style blood baths in the sea, undertaken by teenagers trying to prove their manhood to realise this.

Any previous alien inroads intended to reach out and gain greater communication with man may be limited by the above. Do not get me wrong. We are all a part of the wider food chain yet the ‘way’ in which we kill is the leading point here.

I recently debated the same issue on Facebook with my friend, Pat Uskert, from the UFO Hunters team.

Pat had raised the valid point that we need to recognise that if we eat meat then we should be aware that something must be killed in the process.

As an angling writer myself I fully agree and appreciate this. What matters though is the level of brutality, or otherwise, ‘behind’ the way in which we kill. It can be rapid and considerate or alternately, unhurried and violent.

An inquisitive alien race witnessing such a drawn out, blood-filled spectacle, would possibly be as disgusted as countless people here on earth about such gratuitous slaughter. Logically this could mean that such a race would therefore wish to keep at a ‘safe’ distance, before making any further attempts at communication.

I have written before at length about alien inroads, to the extent of interbreeding.

Man must however I believe evolve to greater heights of spiritual maturity, ‘before’ we can hope to achieve enhanced communication with our distant relatives from far-off galaxies.

Is that too much to ask for?
