Haunted Catfish Plantation Halloween secrets revealed in new video

By Jon Kelly UFO Examiner

The night before Halloween, a world-famous speech analyst returns to Dallas from a road trip with a trance medium to a haunted Texas restaurant. In scenes that include a daylight UFO, Cajun-style ghost stories and secret messages encrypted backwards in human speech, the new video entitled Unconscious Secrets of Catfish Plantation provides refreshing angles on questions related to human contact with extraterrestrials, the nature of the afterlife and unconscious communications. In one half-hour this new program from Vancouver’s SecretMessageTV transports audiences beyond the borders of paranormal reality television.

Shot on location in Dallas and Waxahachie, Texas and produced in Vancouver, British Columbia, Unconscious Secrets of Catfish Plantation emphasizes the use of Steadicam-mounted infrared night-shot imaging in ultra wide-angle perspective to tell the story of Dwanna Paul’s return to what famed Mothman Prophecies journalist Rick Moran has called “the most haunted restaurant in Texas” (as quoted from the restaurant’s menu). Never-before-seen raw footage of a daylight EBANI-like UFO recorded in professional-grade 3CCD color near the Addison, Texas airport is also featured in this production.

Dwanna Paul is a renowned trance medium and was the first paranormal investigator to explore the mysterious phenomena being reported at Catfish Plantation in the late 1980’s.

Mr. Moran wrote how “the 1895 Victorian at 814 Water Street in Waxahachie is most definitely the residence of several earthbound spirits,” citing “a large tea urn, with neatly stacked coffee cups inside, which had somehow been transported to the middle of the floor,” along with “a fry basket levitating in the kitchen, a glowing blue light illuminating a room that was otherwise empty and the ghostly figure of a bride standing by a front window.”

During the documentary-style feature, Ms. Paul recounts how she heard the names of spirits while exploring the property at the request of Tom and Melissa Baker, the previous owners. Current co-owner Ann Landis also describes how she was “led by spirit” to meet Ms. Paul near the time of the Landis family’s purchase while staff and guests discuss their personal encounters with the unknown.

The southern-fried ghost stories include disembodied sounds of boots walking on the floor, a mysterious figure photographed in a mirror as well as a “shadow-being” that crawls across the restaurant floor and disappears under a table. When lensed through a digital audio mirror, the testimonies of witnesses are deepened with evidence of involuntary unconscious communications (akin to sleep-talking and Freudian slips) which refer to these phenomena as well.

Examiner.com has reported how Vancouver-based investigative research studying the detection of secret messages encrypted backwards within the human voice fulfils legacy demands from the scientific community for an advanced technique of UFO witness interrogation. Unconscious Secrets of Catfish Plantation reveals this same approach being used by an expert practitioner at an internationally famous haunted location to shed new light on the testimonies of witnesses to the paranormal.

Catfish Plantation has been featured on television’s Ghost Lab, Extreme Restaurants and A Current Affair.
