A Hardin County, KY, witness reports watching a silent, oval-shaped object with four lights move overhead at 25 feet and slowly drift away on May 23, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness could not sleep and stepped outside to pass time watching the stars when a peach-colored light first came into view at a distance.
“I continued looking around and about a minute and-a-half to two minutes later, I looked at it again and it had gotten closer,” the witness stated. “In disbelief I stared until it was close enough to see three peach-ish lights, and a red light slowly blinking (in the rear of the object).”
But the object kept coming closer.
“It got about 25 feet from the ground and slowly drifted over me, continuing diagonally to my right. I was frozen in place, goose bumps immediately popped up on my arms in my shock/awe. There was no sound at all, and considering the distance above me, I expected something.”
The witness described the object as it moved over his house.
“As it went over my house I moved further out into my backyard, watching as it went over my house and continued diagonally to my right until I couldnt see it anymore. It was oval-shaped, almost like a Manta ray without a tail. That’s all I could think it was.”
The object then simply drifted away until it was out of sight.
