Triangle UFO moves by Pennsylvania witness ’30 feet in air’

The object was just 20 feet away from the witness and only 30 feet off of the ground and was seen for between 10 and 12 seconds before it moved behind a nearby house.

A Pennsylvania witness sitting in a parked car reports looking up after her daughter called out to her and saw a small, triangle-shaped object with three bright, white lights just 20 feet away and about 30 feet in the air that quickly disappeared behind a house, according to February 10, 2012, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The woman’s brother was unloading groceries from the trunk of the car while the woman and her daughter were inside the car when the daughter called out “Mommy.”
“It just drove straight,” the witness stated. “As it got behind the house, it disappeared fast. We heard a slight sound coming from it.”
Just three minutes prior to this incident, the witness had seen a helicopter go by.
“There was also a black helicopter that I just saw take off like three minutes before we saw the UFO. The helicopter is a life fight. It came from Allegheny General Hospital.”
The triangle object was seen for between 10 and 12 seconds.
No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report, although the location may have been in the vicinity of Allegheny General Hospital which is in the Pittsburgh area in southwestern, PA. No images or video were included with the report, which was filed on February 10, 2012. The incident occurred on February 8, 2012. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
Pennsylvania is a current UFO ALERT 3 rating, with a high number of UFO sightings nationally. Pennsylvania had 28 reports in January, the 4th highest reporting state – while California had 90 reports in January 2012 – the highest reporting state in the nation.
