UFO A FAN OF VANCOUVER CANADIANS BASEBALL

Publisher’s Note: Received an email from UFO Digest editor Robert D Morningstar this morning advising me of an article published on THE PROVINCE.COM website. An article about the Vancouver Canadians playing baseball against the Everett AquaSox. The writer of the article, Steve Ewen wrote, “Weird blue thing appears in sky and C’s bust out for four runs.”

Vancouver Canadians’ opponents like to claim that strange things tend to happen at Nat Bailey Stadium, but parts of Tuesday would have fit in fine with David Duchovny and The X-Files.

In the sixth inning of the Game 1 of the best-of-three North Division final between the C’s and the Everett AquaSox, a shiny blue something or other appeared levitating just beyond the right field fence.

A kite? A remote controlled helicopter? Maybe. There were even reports of a UFO at the Nat popping up on Twitter, complete with some eerie looking pictures.

Sure enough, the C’s busted out that inning, sending nine batters to the plate and scoring four runs in a game that they had been muddling along in until that point. Vancouver ended up winning 5-1 before a weather-challenged crowd of 1,796.
