On November 20, 2012, Scottish Television (STV) Glasgow reported how Strathclyde Police records released under the United Kingdom Freedom of Information Act include “144 official records of people calling about supernatural sightings,” including UFOs and ETs. The reports, received by police operators between April 2007 and March 2012, describe calls from members of the public concerning ETs appearing in their homes, partners who are taken by spaceships and UFOs observed flying in diamond formation.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (c.36) is reportedly “an Act of Parliament of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that creates a public “right of access” to information held by public authorities.”

What the Operators Heard
One source describes how Strathclyde was “one of nine former local government regions of Scotland created by the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 and abolished in 1996 by the Local Government etc (Scotland) Act 1994.” The region was named after the ancient British or Brythonic Damnonii Kingdom of Strathclyde. Srath Chluaidh in Gaelic means “valley of the River Clyde.”
