Witnesses in Minnesota and Kansas report seeing multiple lights flying in formation on the same night that they could not identify, according to May 1 and May 2, 2011, testimony in separate cases from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
In Minnesota between 1 and 1:30 p.m. on April 30, a witness and daughter were flying a kite when they noticed “six round objects flying in ‘V’ formation heading south to north” in MUFON Case # 28906.
“At first I thought they were geese, and I kept telling myself they were,” the witness stated. “But as they flew above us they were spherical. They sort of looked like stars. and judging by distance they were probably the size of a fighter jet.”
While watching the objects, they dispersed into an “erratic pattern.”
“They moved like nothing I had ever seen before. Then, one by one they disappeared into the cloud they were near.”
Also on April 30, 2011, witnesses in Abilene, KS, report watching 8 to 12 red, non-blinking lights in a triangular formation at about 9:30 p.m. in MUFON Case # 28893.
“They were flying in formation maintaining a constant altitude and were equidistant from each other,” the reporting witness stated. “They were in a triangular relationship to each other as well.”
Then more lights came into view.
“We continued watching more going by all on the same flight path. There was no sound whatsoever. They were moving too slowly to be planes.”
